The basics

Set your stake with ＋ / －, then hit SPIN (or the Space bar). AUTO ×10 spins ten times for you. You win when 3 matching symbols line up on one of the 5 paylines (the 3 rows + 2 diagonals). 🃏 Wild stands in for any symbol to complete a line.

🏺 Getting to the bonus games

Land 3 or more 🏺 relic symbols anywhere on the screen — they don't need to be on a payline, just anywhere on the grid. That triggers a bonus, and one of three features is chosen at random:

• 🏛️ Tomb Hoard — open tombs for prizes; bank them, or keep digging until you hit the 💀 curse.
• 🎲 Mummy's Trail — roll a die around a board collecting cash, multipliers and the 50× relic. Cash out any time, or risk the 💀.
• 🧟 Mo Mummy — a mummy grows as it eats 💎 diamonds; it banks every 💰 coin that lands inside its square. The bigger it gets, the more it collects.

📊 The Math Lab — how slot machines actually work

Every casino slot is governed by three numbers. Change the reel weights below and watch them recompute in real time.

Reel composition (the weights)

Each reel is a strip of symbols. The count of a symbol on the strip is its weight — more copies = lands more often. This is the single most important lever a casino controls. Slide to change how often each symbol appears, on all reels. (The 🏺 Scatter weight controls how often the bonus triggers.)

Bonus feature chances

When the bonus triggers, one of the three features is picked by weight. Slide to change how likely each is — the % shown is its share. Set one high (and the others to 0) to always get that feature.

How a real machine works

• It decides the result first. A random number generator picks a stop position on each reel before any animation. The spinning is pure theater — the outcome is already locked in.
• RTP = the % of money bet that's paid back over millions of spins. A 96% RTP machine keeps 4¢ of every dollar on average. It's a long-run average — any single session swings wildly.
• House edge = 100% − RTP. That 4% is the casino's guaranteed cut.
• Hit frequency = how often any win lands. Many machines hit ~25–45% of spins — but a lot of those are "wins" smaller than your bet (a "loss disguised as a win").
• Volatility = how lumpy the payouts are. Low-vol = frequent small wins; high-vol = rare huge wins (that's where bonus rounds live).
• Weighted reels are the trick: the jackpot symbol might be visible on the reel but appear only once in a 64-symbol strip, while cherries appear 10×. Two machines can look identical and pay totally differently.
• Bonus features are funded by the base game — they shift money out of small line-wins into rare, exciting feature payouts. Same RTP, more thrill.
